Stepism defined - you must go to these meetings you must
practice these steps you must never heal but remain eternally in a state of
recovery, or you will die.
Stepism is the indoctrination into a religious cult
initiated by Bill Wilson a successful stock broker during the 1920s who lost
everything in the crash of 1929. Because of his losses he started drinking
excessively. He is responsible for the 12 steps, which are a phenomena in the
history of not just the USA but world wide. They are an indoctrination
technique, designed to bring people into a world wide religious cult promoting
the heresy of non-differentiationism (a heresy that has been around for
centuries).
Stepism promotes a non-differentiated god or higher-power
personified by the group consciousness. The fellowships which
promote recovery from everything from gambling to overeating to loving, are
really network marketing schemes which provide customers for literature. The
literature is published and distributed from national corporations who profit
by selling it to individuals who are part of a worldwide network of small
groups.
Stepsim is a world
wide phenomena now into the 21st century, because the 12-steps and the
fellowships that promote them have been proven
empirically to have no therapeutic value whatsoever, and some studies
show that they actually inhibit healing from the very symptom that the groups
promote themselves as providing a means of recovery from; and yet they continue
to indoctrinate the vulnerable and proliferate.
Stepism relies on the
technique of "victim blaming"
to justify their existence in spite of their proven ineffectiveness. The main tenet of victim blaming is instead of acknowledging the large numbers of people who and thus use this as an impetus to adjust or change the program, victim blaming says there is nothing wrong with the program those who fail regardless of their numbers are just not doing it right, and need to redouble their efforts and try again. Studies show that the main program promoting stepism - Alcoholics Anonymous has a success rate of 5%. Additionally, 5% is the rate of spontaneous remission from alcohol abuse. Thus the real effective rate of AA is 0. AA merely takes the credit for those who would have stopped anyway. Some studies put the success rate of AA at less than 5% which is below the rate of spontaneous remission, indicating that AA actually hurts a persons chances who honestly wants to stop the destruction associated with their drinking. yet for 75 years now AA has relied on this technique of victim blaming in their self-centered singleness of purpose -- self-promotion.
One example of the phenomena is that in spite of their
abysmal track record these networks of religious cults are virtually the only
treatment offered in the US for substance abuse.
Additionally, the substance abuse fellowships also promote
themselves as providing safety and fellowship for child molesters, making them
not just ineffective but dangerous.
Stepism is dangerous to its members threatening them with
death should they question the cult practices or leave and dangerous to the
public as they are the only institutions that openly welcome and encourage the
membership of child molesters and thus promote molestation.
Because they welcome and encourage child molesters into their fellowships, and because of their rule of anonymity it is impossible to tell who is and isn't a child molester in these cults. Protect you families stay away from suspected 12 step members.
