The metaphysics of the world cannot compare with the of the Metaphysics of the Holy Mass and the Sacraments
All that glitters is not gold.
At that moment when transubstantiation occurs, I kneel in
awe know it is just like this heaven opens up and Jesus does the change of
bread and wine into his body and blood. The sacraments are an event happening
on earth as directed by Christ that opens heavens gate. Sacraments at the time
of their occurrence connect open a channel between the material realm and the
spiritual realm. It looks simple and mundane to the outside world the
uninitiated, this metaphysics, especially with the proliferation of so many new
age and old age metaphysics that are connections to the spiritual realm but not
to the kingdom of heaven, especially with the Hollywood depictions of demons
and rituals and zombies. Why do the Sacraments not capture the imagination as
these other metaphysics? The Sacraments are Holy and truly greater more real
and more meaningful than all the parlor tricks of the devil, with his glit and
glitter metaphysics.
